Operating theaters are usually already fully equipped with devices and screens. Not infrequently there is a lack of space additional equipment in the view of doctors to position. This was the reason for MCD to reinterpret the well-accepted OMNI.view² series.
The 42 "variant as a wall installation solves the sometimes prevailing space problems in the operating room. As built-in variants in the wall or as a surface-mounted version in an existing environment, the system uses free space and thus provides the opportunity to additionally display necessary information.
On the display, information can be called up or entered via touch-screen (10-finger). The actual control of the display takes place by means of the capacitive buttons on the glass front. Up to three different image sources can be selected by pressing a button. When selecting, the user can display even more information about the picture-in-picture functionality.
Another advantage for the user is the integrated RFID reader integrated in the glass front, which enables simple and contactless log-on and log-off using a chip card without having to remember or enter a password.
