the spread of COVID-19 is increasingly affecting public life around the world. Nevertheless, we want to be a reliable partner for you even in this difficult time. The protection of the life and health of our customers, users, partners and employees has always been part of our corporate policy. Each of our employees is aware of their responsibilities in this challenging situation. Our team works with a high level of effort and commitment to meet all the requirements we meet in the usual quality and time.
Availability
We have moved a large part of our employees of non-production or service-related activities to home offices. This allowed us to loosen up the "density" of personnel at our headquarters and significantly reduce the risk of contagion. The staff can be reached by the coordinates you know (telephone/e-mail) and is available to you in all matters.
Please understand that appointments outside or in our premises have been reduced to an absolute minimum. We hope for your understanding here.
Production & Service
Despite increasing demand for medical IT systems and displays (especially with high IP protection classes) as well as difficult procurement conditions, we have been able to produce and deliver all incoming orders as desired. If there are delays in delivery, we apologize. We rely exclusively on established and reliable forwarders, who unfortunately face sometimes more difficult challenges. In individual cases, intra-community deliveries may be delayed.
Our service activities and spare parts deliveries are currently also carried out unhindered and in the usual quality and time.
Hygiene and protective measures
We have been practicing a high level of hygiene and protective measures for years – both at the production site and in the commercial sector. These measures have currently been reviewed and increased accordingly. The health of our employees, customers and any third party is a top priority
We hope that our products and measures will help to support the health care sector - and in particular hospitals and clinics - in terms of safety and hygiene.

Distribution partnership with EIZO!
MCD Medical Computers Deutschland GmbH and EIZO GmbH (both Mönchengladbach) announce the distribution partnership for grayscale and colour monitors of the RadiForce series.
The MCD now offers its customers (hospitals, clinics, radiological practices) the products of the EIZO RadiForce series and thus complements its extensive MCD Medical Line product range of Medical IT systems and Medical Displays which are developed and manufactured in the own ISO 13485 certified factory in Germany. MCD chose to cooperate with EIZO due to the high quality of the products and the professional market management of the EIZO company, which is based on a high customer satisfaction and clear and transparent sales policy.
Both EIZO and MCD are convinced that the distribution partnership will help them further expand their market share in the medical display market.

MCD looks back at a very successful fair week and would like to thank all customers and interested visitors which are part of this success. Due to many interesting conversations, we made new contacts both in Germany and abroad and strengthen existing customer relationships.
Additionally to our well known Medical Computers AESCU.certus² and PANA.ceia², our brand new THA.leia³ Panel-PCs and OMNI.view² Displays have mainly attracted the attention of the fair visitors. Especially the high quality workmanship, the simple and intuitive operation as well as diverse customizing possibilities have convinced customers and interested visitors.
Now we are looking forward to a successful cooperation with all visiors who are convinced by MCD!

Pünktlich zur diesjährigen conhIT in Berlin präsentiert sich die MCD mit einem komplett überarbeiteten Web-Auftritt unter www.mcd.de.com.
"Um ehrlich zu sein: dies war eigentlich schon lange überfällig", sagt Thomas Hollex, Geschäftsführer der MCD. "Unser Corporate Design Change wurde ja bereits Anfang 2014 begonnen, mit der Gründung unserer Niederlassung in den USA. Aber zahlreiche neue und bestehende Projekte forderten das Team in den letzten Monaten, und die unmittelbare Zufriedenstellung unserer Kunden muss eine höhere Priorität als der Außenauftritt genießen."
"Die Nutzungsstatistiken unserer Homepage verdeutlichen, dass Kunden, Interessenten und auch potentielle Bewerber diese regelmäßig ansteuern und zur Informationsgewinnung nutzen. Deshalb war uns der Dialog mit diesen zur Optimierung der Website während der gesamten Projektrealisierung besonders wichtig", fügt Danny Bronke, Leitung Produktmanagement, hinzu.
Der interne Projektleiter hat zahlreiche Kundenanregungen bei der Gestaltung der Website aufgegriffen. "Neue Funktionen wie die sogenannte Off-Canvas Sidebar erlauben Features wie etwa die Anmeldung, Website-Suchen und auch den Wechsel der Sprache. Durch nur einen Klick sind sie verfügbar, aber ebenso schnell wieder unsichtbar. Dies hat eine übersichtliche und intuitive Seite zur Folge."
Auch der Bereich der Produkt-Präsentation wurde überarbeitet. "Durch die Nutzung eines "Tab"-Elements sind alle produktrelevanten Informationen und Links direkt sichtbar. Der Aufwand des Scrollens wird hierdurch deutlich verringert."
Auch die Interessen der MCD-Nutzer wurden bei der Projektierung berücksichtigt. "Das bisherige Content Management System ließ sich für uns nur schwer bedienen und nur bedingt modfizieren", erklärt Bronke. "Deswegen waren auch von Beginn an die Kollegen involviert, die in Zukunft die Inhalte einpflegen und ändern werden. Des weiteren ermöglicht uns das neue CMS effizientere und sichere Prozesse, um die vom Qualitätsmanagement gestellten Forderungen zu erfüllen."
Gleichzeitig deutet er an, dass das Projekt noch längst nicht abgeschlossen ist. "Uns ist es wichtig, dem Kunden mit unserem Web-Auftritt eine optimale Möglichkeit zu bieten, uns Rückmeldungen zu geben. Natürlich freuen wir uns über Lob, aber Kritik ist uns mindestens genau so wichtig. Wir werden diese konstruktiv bewerten uns zur weiteren Optimierung nutzen. Schließlich planen wir in den nächsten Wochen noch die Website um die eine oder andere Funktion zu erweitern, die gerade getestet und bewertet werden."
